An evening of open-fire cooking, handmade flatbreads, and community.
Join local chef Alex Barton for a traditional Argentine-inspired asado at the Revelstoke Food Commons. Set around the fire, this intimate evening celebrates the timeless tradition of cooking over open flames, sharing rustic regional foods, and bringing people together around one table.
As the lamb slowly roasts over the fire, guests are invited to take part in the experience by rolling, stretching, and cooking their own flatbreads over the flames before settling in for a generous family-style feast. Throughout the evening, Chef Alex will share the traditions behind the Argentine asado and the simple joy of slowing down to cook and eat together.
Featuring locally raised lamb from Reverent Acres Farm alongside seasonal herbs, vegetables and ingredients - grown by local farmers and the Revelstoke Local Food Initiative, this harvest-inspired dinner blends Argentine tradition with the flavors of Revelstoke.
