Join Chef Aidan Cain for a guided mushroom foraging experience, where you'll learn how to identify, harvest, and responsibly forage seasonal mushrooms while gaining a deeper appreciation for the forests that nourish our communities. Back at the Food Commons, Chef Aidan will demonstrate how to properly clean, prepare, and preserve your harvest before transforming the day's bounty into an open-fire meal.
Gather around the flames as you enjoy a multi-course feast celebrating wild ingredients, local food, and the art of cooking over fire. Along the way, you'll hear stories of foraging traditions, sustainable harvesting practices, and the connection between the land, the season, and the plate.
Whether you're an experienced forager or simply curious about wild food, Forage & Fire is a one-of-a-kind culinary adventure that invites you to slow down, explore, and savour the incredible flavours of Revelstoke's forests.

Cost: $65 for adults, $45 for youth under 16
Venue: Food Commons
Guests should wear appropriate footwear and attire for the season and forest. You should also be comfortable on your feet, navigating the forest. Foraging will go ahead rain or shine. We will then gather at the Food Commons around the fire to warm up and get cozy with locally crafted teas.
